Vijayawada: The decision of the Andhra Pradesh Govt to release seven white papers on the financial health of the State and other issues from June 28 is not only aimed at creating awareness on the factual position but also to corner YSRCP, which was in power for five years. A Group of Ministers will help the officials in preparing the white papers on the State finances, Polavaram project, attempts to stall development of Amaravati as the sole capital and other key issues on which the TDP-led NDA extensively campaigned in the run to the May 13 elections.
The white papers will be released in phases from June 28 to July 18 in consultation with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan. “The government has felt the need to bring awareness among the people on the failures of the systems in the past five years,” Minister for Information and Public Relations G Parthasarathy said.
